Residency by Investment

Latvia is located in Northern Europe on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea and is defined by its vast, lush forests and nearly 500 kilometers of white sandy beaches. The capital city is Riga, a historic Hanseatic port famous for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and its UNESCO World Heritage Old Town. The official language is Latvian, one of the oldest Indo-European languages still in use, and the national currency is the Euro. Latvia has been a member of the Eurozone since 2014 and is an active member of the United Nations. As a modern, Western-integrated nation, Latvia belongs to several key international institutions, including the European Union, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Council of Europe, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Latvia's Residency by Investment Program (commonly referred to as the Latvia Golden Visa), provides a 5-year temporary residence permit via business investment, real estate, bank deposits, or government bonds. With a minimum investment of €50,000 in equity, it remains one of the most affordable EU residency programs.
